Notes and Events: The Vajrapani Buddhist Centre was established in 1999 and is currently situated in the tranquil and beautiful suburb of Blairgowrie in Johannesburg, where a community of lay and ordained Buddhists live and practice the Buddhist path in a modern setting. Classes are held in a peaceful and informal atmosphere and everyone is welcome to attend. The Centre is open to visitors on weekday afternoons.

We offer various study programmes (Foundation Programme and Teachers Training Programme), classes and courses and other events. For beginners we recommend the General Programme (GP) which is held in the Centre and in different areas in Johannesburg and Gauteng on a weekly basis.
