*Saṃyama*
“Restraint of the eye is good; restraint of the ear is good; restraint of the nose is good; restraint of the tongue is good. Restraint in all things is good.”
Practice Peacefully
Guard the gate of your eyes: choose peaceful sights. Guard the gate of your ears: filter out toxic sounds and words. Guard your tongue: taste with moderation and speak with kindness. Be aware that your senses are the entry points to your ecosystem. Protect the purity of your inner temple without rigidity or closure. Taste the profound calm that arises from the attentive guarding of the sensory doors.
