2002

Pioneer of the Francophone spiritual web

Alain and Aliénor Delaporte-Digard founded in Paris one of the very first multimedia Buddhist portals on the Francophone web—long before the advent of modern social networks.

2007

DTT Application & First Web-TV

Buddhachannel deploys its web-TV structure and submits an official application to the CSA for the allocation of a digital terrestrial television frequency in Île-de-France.

2007

International Buddhabear Project

Creation of a universal symbol of peace for children in partnership with the Steiff manufacturer. Books, 3D animations, and a cultural exchange trip to Cambodia acclaimed by the international press.

2016

TEDx Platform & Outreach

Founders' Portraits

Alain Delaporte-Digard, co-founder and publishing director, is a shiatsu, yoga, qi-gong, and meditation instructor. After managing a thalassotherapy center in Deauville, he developed the bioRegulation method with his wife Aliénor Delaporte-Digard before creating the Buddhachannel portal in 2002 to offer a free and benevolent space for wisdom traditions.
