A global network of places, Sanghas, and paths of wisdom
With Aliénor and Alain, we don't just offer a map of Buddhism. We aim to weave a living network between places, communities, and individuals who, for twenty-five centuries, have been transmitting the paths of wisdom.
BUDDHACHANNEL WORLD is an invitation to travel. A journey through the landscapes where the Buddha lived, the temples and monasteries that have spanned centuries, the Sanghas that keep traditions alive today, but also the paths that everyone can freely explore.
Our global network is organized into three levels.
Read, contemplate, meditate, travel, practice, or simply look differently: Buddhachannel imposes nothing. It offers paths that everyone can follow at their own pace.
Thus, our network goes far beyond a geographical map. It becomes a living encyclopedia where each place dialogues with others, where each entry opens up to further discoveries, where each tradition meets other traditions. Synergies naturally connect the Buddhachannel Encyclopedia, practice pathways, Terra Sapiens, Un Seul Pays, and, tomorrow, the global network of Sanghas.
Our ambition is simple.
Create bridges rather than borders. Connect cultures rather than oppose them. Put knowledge in dialogue rather than in competition. For a place can inspire an encounter. An encounter can open a path. And a path can, sometimes, transform a life.
